Madrid, 4th September. Amper will be responsible for the implementation of a new radio communications system at Palma of Majorca Airport.
Concretely, the Spanish airport manager Aena has awarded Amper Sistemas, S.A. the renewal and expansion of the digital radio communications system at Palma of Majorca Airport.
This new radio communications system will improve communications in closed user groups, in accordance with the requirements of reliability, security and confidentiality for airport operations.
In addition, the contract includes the renovation of the control centre with Ulysses, the voice communications system (VCS) developed by Amper.
The contract awarded to Amper is worth almost 2.5 million euros and has a completion period of 24 months, which means that, according to the current schedule, the new system will be operational at the Majorcan airport in the summer of 2025.
With this award, Aena once again entrusts the radio communications of Palma Airport to the Amper Group, a leader in advanced solutions that improve the operational efficiency of airport facilities, while guaranteeing the security of communications in these facilities.
